The Wilmot Community Association (WCA) is seeking vendors for its annual Holiday Craft Fair set for 9 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, December 1, at the New London Outing Club’s Indoor Center, 114 Cougar Court in New London.
“In response to comments from vendors and shoppers, we have decided to move the Holiday Craft Fair to a venue where all the activities will be under one roof,” said Kathy Neuberger, craft fair coordinator and member of the WCA board of directors.
“The Outing Club’s facility allows us to offer larger spaces for vendors’ booths, wider aisles, the ability to accommodate up to 75 vendors, and more parking,” Kathy added. “We are delighted that the Wilmot Ladies Aid Society will join us again this year for their fabulous Cookie Walk. And of course Santa Claus will be on hand for anyone who wants to have his or her photo taken with that Jolly Old Elf.”
For shoppers’ convenience, Friends of the Wilmot Public Library (FOWPL) will wrap gifts at a special station. Donations to the library in exchange for this service will be welcome.
For members of the WCA, booth space costs $30 for a space that is eight feet wide by eight feet deep, with a limit of two booths per vendor. Booth space for non-members of the WCA costs $35 per space, also limited to two per vendor.
Electricity will be available for an additional cost. Vendors must provide their own tables.
Items sold by crafters must be handmade, custom products. New resale items are subject to approval by the WCA. Garage sale and flea market items will not be permitted.
“To ensure a good mix of crafts, each application will be reviewed,” Kathy said.
Coffee, food, and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.
Applications are available from WCA at info@nullWilmotCommunityAssoc.com or by calling Kathy between 6 and 9 PM at 477-5250. More information, including applications, is available at WilmotCommunityAssoc.com.
