Megan Nicole Hanscom of Andover received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, on May 13. Megan graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Environmental Studies and minor studies in English, Gender and Women’s Studies, and Studio Art.

Megan was recognized for her academic achievement with her induction to Tau of Pennsylvania Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at a ceremony with peers on May 12.

Megan is a 2012 graduate of Proctor Academy and a 2008 graduate of Andover Elementary/Middle School. She will be working as a Summer Scholar with the Network for Sustainable Climate Risk Management (SCRiM) in the Earth and Environmental Systems Institute at Pennsylvania State University during the summer.
