The Andover Service Club has just completed its Scholarship Program for the 2016 academic year. We are delighted to announce that a total of $4,000 was given out to four very deserving students. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must have a close, personal relationship to the town of Andover. The awards are made on the basis of academic performance, character attributes, and community involvement.
The Andover Service Club would like to thank all those who submitted applications. Each application reflected strong character and diverse interests. I would like to thank personally each of the Andover Service Club members for their help in raising funds to allow this program to continue. I also know that I speak for each member in thanking all the community members who support our Club’s projects. This support is what makes our scholarship program possible.
The Andover Service Club wishes all those who participated in our program success and happiness in their future endeavors.
The four $1,000 scholarships were awarded to:
- Karen Niemyer. Karen will continue her graduate school program at Granite State College.
- Kristi Perrault. Kristi will continue her studies at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island.
- Nathalie Tur. Nathalie will begin her studies at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.
