The New London Rotary Club’s Tina Helm, a retired teacher, visited AE/MS recently to read to kindergartners and first graders. She read stories to the children and gave each of them a book. The first graders each got a copy of The Emperor’s New Clothes; the kindergartners each got a copy of Riddle Rhymes. She also donated a book of nature poetry to each classroom.
