No prior meditation experience is necessary. These on-going classes will meet every other Saturday and will be guided by Ilene Venizelos. For questions or to register, please call COA at 526-6368.

Humanist & Agnostic Discussion Group
Thursday, September 15 1:30pm
At our last meeting we were supposed to discuss spirituality and whether or not one can be a spiritual person without also being religious, that is, without buying into a formal religious tradition. We never did decide this because the discussion, typically, wandered away from the topic and in this case into the concept of love and whether or not love is spiritual. We did not decide that issue either. But, undaunted, by the time you read this, we would have met for our August meeting and at least started to talk about soul. Who invented soul, and why? What proof have we that it exists? If there is no such thing as soul, how would that mess up most of the world’s religious beliefs? The soul train will meet on (right before Tai Chi, which is supposed to clarify one’s soul, or whatever). Come join us. Please call COA at 526-6368 to sign up.
