I’m David Karrick, running for my third term in the New Hampshire legislature, representing Andover, Danbury, Salisbury, Warner, and Webster which comprise Merrimack District 25.
I’ve served two terms on the House Ways and Means Committee. I am proud to have worked to extend Medicaid Expansion, protecting the healthcare rights of women and children, lifting the cap on net metering to protect solar energy jobs, wage equality for women and men, and passing legislation to help fight the drug overdose crisis.
My current priorities are ensuring access to quality affordable public education from early childhood through college and training for today’s high technology jobs, a living wage for all, high speed Internet access for every community, affordable housing, promoting conservation and clean energy, and finding revenues to reduce local property taxes.
During the last 20 years I’ve worked for Warner in many ways, including service on the Town Budget Committee and six years as selectman. I am retired from a career as a financial advisor. I’m the husband of Martha Weeks Karrick and have three adult children and six grandchildren.
I respectfully ask for your vote in the September 13 primary and on Election Day, November 8.
