A lifelong Granite Stater, I believe New Hampshire faces a crossroads: the decisions our next Governor makes will affect our state’s future for generations, especially when it comes to building a 21st century economy with a level playing field and a fair shot at success for every student, worker, and family.

Recently, we’ve seen the good that can come from our leaders taking strong steps to protect women’s healthcare providers like Planned Parenthood, tackling the heroin crisis with decisiveness and compassion, and expanding Medicaid to maintain access to affordable healthcare — and I will bring bold, progressive leadership to Concord, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to succeed and that no community gets left behind.

These have been my priorities as a State Representative, small business owner, and public servant throughout my working life; as a consumer protection leader, I earned a national reputation for standing up to big banks and corporate greed, fighting and winning for families, students, and seniors who were cheated, when no one else would.

I believe that we need to provide every child with a world-class education, transform New Hampshire into the “Innovation State” with more 21st century jobs, and build safer and healthier neighborhoods. From reversing the opioid crisis to expanding our local economy, I have taken strong stances on the issues affecting us — and I’m the only candidate willing to defy NRA lobbyists in support of a ban on military-style assault weapons.
