Adult Day Out Program Seeks Volunteers

NEWPORT, New Hampshire – Do you enjoy music, storytelling, walking, chatting over tea, crafts, games, gardening or engaging new people in general? The Connecticut Valley Adult Day Out Program, operated by Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice at 958 John Stark Highway in Newport, is looking for additional volunteers to assist with activities for its clients. “We are happy to have volunteers any time they can come,” says Christine Phipps, LPN.

The Adult Day Out Program is run by licensed nursing staff Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM and provides all-day care for adults with medical, therapeutic and/or social needs. Volunteers are welcome any time during those hours.
