The board of the Friends of the Northern Rail Trail in Merrimack County held its annual meeting prior to a private potluck dinner celebration at the lovely Andover Barn event venue at the Highland Lake Inn. During the meeting, the membership elected a board of directors, followed by a unanimous vote of confidence in the slate of officers that served last year. Myra Mayman and Lindy Heim will again serve as co-presidents, Alex Bernhard as vice-president, Peter Southworth as recording secretary, George Heaton as secretary, and Steve Darling as treasurer.
