Proctor Academy Artists on Exhibit at AVA Gallery

On exhibit from February 17 to March 10

Ten Proctor students’ artwork has been on exhibit at the AVA Gallery in Lebanon, NH this month. This oil painting on wood “Industrialization” by Sarah Ferdinand ’18 is among the featured pieces.

Ten Proctor students will have their artwork on display at Lebanon, New Hampshire’s AVA Gallery during the Ninth Annual Best of the Upper Valley High School Exhibition from February 17 through March 10.

For the third consecutive year, Proctor’s art students submitted a wide array of pieces, from all visual and industrial arts disciplines, to the exhibit.

An opening reception and awards ceremony was held on Friday, February 17 for all exhibiting artists from the 18 high schools represented. To learn more about the exhibit, visit the AVA Gallery Web site: avagallery.org.

Congratulations to the following students for producing such remarkable work, and to Proctor’s dynamic Arts Department faculty for fostering the type of learning environment that encourages students to take risks and explore their creative side.
