For decades, Proctor Academy has hosted Gordon Research Conferences (GRC) on campus during the summer months. These conferences will bring well over 1,000 world renowned scientists to the Town of Andover this summer. In the past, GRC has welcomed Nobel Peace Prize winning scientists to the specialty conferences drawing scientists from around the globe together to discuss topics as diverse as biomolecular chemistry, Proteoglycans (GRS), and the study of rock deformation.

Proctor’s campus, and the Town of Andover, are reviewed each year by attendees of Gordon Research Conferences, and without fail reviews of the food quality, maintenance of facilities, and housekeeping services are among the highest of any conference location. These reviews combined with the ancillary benefits of retreating to Andover’s lakes, ponds, Northern Rail Trail, and extensive trail networks has led to incredibly high demand for this year’s conferences as Proctor will host ten straight weeks of conferences, including nine weekend Gordon Research Seminars.
