On May 18, 2017 members of The Andover Cemetery Trustees and The American Legion Crosby/Gilbert Post 101 gathered to place a flag at the grave of each veteran buried in Proctor Cemetery. Prior to Memorial Day Post 101 members, with assistance of the Cemetery Trustees, will have placed a new flag on all veterans graves in Andover Cemeteries.
