July 22nd is Music on the Bandstand’s Do Wop night with the Fondtones playing classic hits on the town green, 9 Kearsarge Valley Road in Wilmot. You won’t want to miss this fun evening starting at 6 PM with a complete carryout chicken supper, 60s music and dancing all outside in one place around the Wilmot bandstand!
The fabulous 6 piece Fondtones will be playing old favorites and leading you and your family in dances like the stroll, monkey, pony, twist, hand jive and more. Be there or be square!
Friends of the Northern Rail Trail will host the food concession offering all kinds of finger-licking chicken pieces, slaw, baked beans, raw veggies, chips, lemonade or iced tea and a slice of watermelon. How’s that for a summer menu! Pick up a full plate for $10 or whatever you want a’ la carte.
Bring your whole family or just yourself, dancing shoes and a lawn chair – don’t miss a minute of the fun.
In the case of a weather issue, the concert and food concession will move to the Wilmot Town Hall at the corner of New Hampshire Rte 4A and North Wimot Road.
