The New Hampshire Maple Producers Association chose former New Hampshire governor Nahum Bachelder’s house on Maple Street as the location of this year’s ceremonial tapping, with Governor Maggie Hassan as celebrity tapper. After the tapping, the party adjourned to the Tucker Mountain Maple sap house on Tucker Mountain Road, where boiling was already in progress.
