BOSCAWEN – Franklin A. Eaton Sr., 87, passed away Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at Concord Hospital after a short illness.  He was born November 9, 1929, in Portsmouth, to Lillian and Charles Eaton of Seabrook.  Franklin resided at Merrimack County Nursing Home since February, 2016.  

Franklin enjoyed building, including his home in Boscawen, and the wonderful days helping out in the hay fields with his friend.

Franklin was employed by Page Belting of Concord for many years until his retirement.

Franklin was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine M. Eaton, February 2016.  Franklin leaves behind a son, Andrew A. Eaton of Webster; a daughter, Debra Huntoon and her husband, Michael Huntoon of Andover; a daughter, Brenda Boutwell and Edwin King of Boscawen.  He also leaves behind a great friend, Martin Boutwell of Boscawen.  Grandchildren include Joe Boutwell of Webster, Kimberly Boutwell of Boston and Brian Huntoon of Andover.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Edna McKenna Trust Fund at Merrimack County Nursing Home, 325 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH  03303.

Calling hours were on Thursday, October 26, at the Wendell J Butt Funeral Home, 42 Washington St.reet, Penacook.

A private burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
