The Andover Fish and Game Club will be holding the club’s first annual ice fishing derby on Highland Lake on January 27. Registration will be at 6 AM at the AF&G Club House. There are many prizes to be awarded such as for the largest Brook or Rainbow Trout. The Derby will conclude at 2 PM. Registration fees will be $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for fishermen under the age of 15.
Prizes included in the first annual ice fishing derby are as follows: wicker pack baskets, chisels, hand auger, tip ups, skimmers, jet sleds, jig rods, and bait buckets. There will be a drawing at the conclusion of the derby for an electronic flasher ($250.00 value) . All who register are entered in the end of day drawing.
