As part of its 56th Winter Carnival, the Veterans Memorial Recreation Area/Frankin Outing Club is pleased to announce the annual Webster Lake Fishing Derby which will take place on  Saturday, February 17 and Sunday, February 18. Tickets are on sale now at Castaway Bait and Tackle, Grevior Furniture, Newfound Trading Post, Bryant Lawrence Hardware, Winnisquam Market and Deli, the Barn Store, and Camaro Heaven.

The first 100 youth tickets (15 years and younger) have been prepaid by a generous donor! So get your tickets early to qualify for a freee ticket. All youth entering the derby will receive a free “tip-up.” Everyone who purchases a ticket will be entered to win one of the many door prizes that will be given away.

Tickets can also be purchased at the derby at Griffin Beach on Webster Avenue/Griffin Road in Franklin. Registration begins at 6 AM. Fish must be turned in by 3:30 PM and awards will be given at 4 PM.
