Lakes Region Chamber Announces New Officers and Directors

The Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce announced and voted on the 2018 Officers and Board of Directors on January 25 at their 99th Annual Meeting & Luncheon at Church Landing in Meredith, NH.  Meredith Village Savings Bank proudly served as the event’s Presenting Sponsor.

Joining the 2018 Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors are: Cecile Chase of Bank of NH; Lori Contraros of T-Bones/Cactus Jack’s; Darcy Peary, LRGHealthcare; Christopher Dickinson, Meredith Village Savings Bank; Larissa Baia, Lakes Region Community College; Melody Daddio, Steele Hill Resorts; Dirk Nadon, Lakes Media – 101.5WEEI SportsRadio/104.9 The Hawk; Adam Hirshan, Laconia Daily Sun and Grace McNamara, Lakes Region Public Access TV. Officers and Board of Directors serve 3 year terms with a maximum of two consecutive terms.

The Chamber’s Officers for 2018 includes newly elected Chairman of the Board –  Bob Fitzpatrick of Vista Foods, 1st Vice Chair – Ted Fodero, Meredith Insurance Agency;  2nd Vice Chair – Sue Gaudette, Gunstock Mountain Resort; Treasurer – Penny Raby, Malone, Dirubbo & Co; and Secretary – Kathy Morin, Laconia Refrigeration. The Board of Directors includes: Allen Voivod, Epiphanies, Inc.; Donna Keeley, Eversource; Kamal Gosine, MB Tractor & Equipment; Michael Bednaz, WaLa Marketing; Patrick Clausen, Proctor’s Lakehouse Cottages; Ellen Hurst, Beck & Bellucci; Julie Westcott, Aavid-a division of Boyd Corporation.

“Our theme was ‘All Hands on Deck’ and the Winnipesaukee Ballroom at Church Landing was filled to capacity at our Annual Meeting luncheon! It is so important today in business to Be Connected and the Chamber continually creates opportunities to connect be it business-to-business or business-to-consumer,” voiced Karmen Gifford, President of the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce. “I am very excited to work and collaborate with these volunteers. They bring unique experiences, represent our regional geography and diverse industries.” The Chamber is a non membership organization made up of 500+ member businesses making a financial commitment within 24 Lakes Region towns/cities.
