Proctor Academy’s baseball team traveled to the Dominican Republic for a service and training trip from March 17 to March 24. The team has a long-standing tradition of taking a Spring Training trip to Florida during March break but second year head coach Mark Tremblay and jv coach Junior De La Hoz instead took students to the Dominican Republic. Working in conjunction with Proctor’s four-day immersion program, Project Period, seventeen students and three coaches traveled to Santo Dominigo, Dominican Republic for seven days of baseball training, community service, and life-changing work at the Nuestro Pequenos Hermanos orphanage. Read more about the trip on Proctor’s blog homepage. (blogs.proctoracademy.org) and come out and support Proctor’s baseball team this spring as they look to defend their 2017 Lakes Region Championship.
