Is Your Well Water Safe to Drink?

Is your well water safe to drink? The only way to know is to get your water tested! Learn all about well water testing at a workshop on May 8 from 7 to 9 PM at the Salisbury Town Hall. Did you know that:
• Many New Hampshire drinking-water wells contain unhealthy levels of various contaminants.
• Most of them have no taste, smell, or color.
• Most contaminants don’t make people sick right away but may cause
serious health problems years from now.
• You won’t know what’s in your water unless you have it tested.
The workshop is free of charge, and all residents of Salisbury and the surrounding towns are invited to attend. It will be presented by a team of public health & water-quality experts. Attendees will be able to pick up a test kit & information on how to collect their household well water for analysis. Refreshments will be served.
