Kathleen Lambert Ehret, (Katy) died suddenly in Swannanoa, North Carolina on June 11. She is survived by her adoring parents Leslie and Richard Ehret of New Orleans, as well as her grandparents Kathy Weill Vivienne Ehret and Barbara Ehret, aunts and uncles Jackie and David Weill, Judy Weill and Alan Jones, Mary and Jeff Ehret, Lori and Jim Ehret, Patty and Pat Ehret and Carmen and Adam Ehret as well as many cousins and countless friends from her many travels.

She was born in New Orleans on October 3, 1996, and graduated from Proctor Academy in Andover, New Hampshire. She was a junior at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa. She was a vibrant, spirited, and caring young woman, whose many passions included gardening, yoga, music, the outdoors and a love of animals, especially her beautiful Noa. Katy was compassionate, curious and thoughtful and will be greatly missed by all.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life on June 22 at NOCCA Lupin Hall. A Catholic Mass will follow later this summer. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to the charity of your choice.
