Parents looking for something fun to do with their small kids during July or for piano lessons for themselves or their children can find them at The Andover Hub. “Music with Friends” gives babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers (along with their caregivers) a chance to use rhythm instruments to play, dance and make music together; babies may seem to just be watching but they’re learning the language of music all the same.
The three-week series will run on Wednesday, July 11, 18 and 25, from 9:30-10:15 AM at The Andover Hub, 157 Main Street in Andover (next to Pizza Chef), taught by Julie Love of Sunapee. Julie has a B.A. degree in piano, has taught piano for many years and leads pre-school music classes throughout the area. The fee for the series is $25; drop-in fee is $10 per session.
Julie is also available for individual piano lessons at The Hub on Wednesdays by appointment. She teaches all ages and levels from beginners to advanced, developing music reading skills in each student at the same time as she trains them to learn by ear.
