Now that Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is set to be released in late July, The Andover Hub is planning a showing of the original 2008 blockbuster hit, beloved for its music and starring Meryl Streep, on Thursday, July 19 at 6:30 PM.

In what’s hoped will be the first of several Summer Movie Nights at The Hub, everyone is welcome. There’ll be popcorn provided and attendees are welcome to bring a snack to share if they like, and the beverage of their choice.

A  light-hearted romantic comedy, Mamma Mia! is set on a colorful Greek island, with a plot that serves as a background for music from the successful pop group ABBA and revolves around a young woman who, as she is about to be married, discovers that any one of three men could be the father she never knew.  She invites all three to the wedding without telling her mother, played by Streep, who was once a lead singer in a popular musical group and has a distinctly colorful past.
