Tiger Mountain Shotokan Karate will be having an open house on Wednesday, August 22 at 6 PM at Whipple Hall on the campus of Colby-Sawyer College in New London.
The school teaches both women and men from ages 6 to adult. Classes are held in three locations i cluding: The Andover Hub in Andover on Monday, The Red Barn in Wilmot on Tuesday and Whipple Hall at Colby-Sawyer College in New London.
School owner, Gayle Flemming says that “Karate classes help  participants to learn self defense skills as well as improving focus, balance, discipline, determination, fitness, and self confidence.” Students earn belts, stars, and stripes as they go. Students also participate in regional competitions throughout the year.
