Correspondence
• Emerald Ash Borer information was received from UNH. Alan will put it on the website, and the noticeboards at Proctor and the post office.

Wetlands Permit application by Proctor
Jesse made a motion to approve the Wetlands Permit application by Proctor for the Proctor pond-dredging project. Jerry seconded, and all were in favor.
Harvey Pine Wetlands Co-occurrence Map
We will invite Harvey to a future meeting and hope to have an electronic copy of the work his student did. Jesse is planning to work with Paul Currier to understand better how to do mapping work, with a goal of updating Andover-specific maps and creating a new set of co-occurrence maps
J&B Landscaping Property
Mary Anne has met with Jon Champagne about transforming the land where trees were cut into a pollinator meadow after the work of excavating material has been completed. This will be done in incremental stages and UNH Extension specialist Cathy Neal will be assisting.
Bog Pond
The CC (Mary Anne, Tina, Nan) took a tour of Bradford Bog with local Bradford CC members. They noted the signage and nature of path construction (boardwalk). This style of access may be appropriate to use at some location on Bog Pond to allow the public to appreciate the unique setting. However, increased access may endanger this fragile environment and boat access to Bog Pond may be a better choice. Mary Anne asked that the CC members carefully read Earl Chase’s report, familiarizing ourselves with the recommendations and understanding the reasons the CC stood behind this. We will then make a determination of whether we agree with our initial stance or if we will make a change .
Jesse has no new news about when the town plans to excavate material near the transfer station, but John Thompson will let him know.
Wetlands Ordinance
Mary Anne will be working on a proposal.
Website
Alan reached out to Marj Roy and will write a Beacon article later this summer.
Verizon Cell Tower
The Select Board is deciding what to ask Verizon to do with the wood that is cut. The Kearsarge Wood Ministry has decided to not take on the project. Alan will check with Dave Pilla to see if Proctor is interested.
Conservation Commission Membership Status
Mary Anne contacted Marj to try to establish which CC members need to be sworn in again, and when the terms of each member complete.
Tucker Mtn. Common Land
Derek completed the monitoring and prepared a monitoring report. The “Declaration of Halcyon Hills” found by Pat Moyer, is the document that describes the covenants and restrictions.
Other Business
Kitty Wilson (Loon preservation campaigner) sadly passed away recently. Nan proposed that we donate $50 from the Andover CC to the Loon Preservation Society in Kitty’s memory. Alan seconded the motion and all were in favor.
Alan is arranging a Bat Conservation program for October 11th or 19th. He is also arranging a Climate Change in NH program on October 4th at 4.30pm. Both will be held at Proctor, and open to the community.
Alan is working on an article about the Proctor pond dredging, for the Beacon.
Jerry is working on arranging a fall Forestry workshop with Tim Fleury, County Forester and Dave Pilla at Proctor. It will be held in September or October.
A Wetlands workshop is planned for July, with Town personnel from Wilmot and Andover invited. Mary Anne is arranging this.
Jesse will contact Bird’s Eye View about drone help with monitoring conserved lands.
Alan made a motion to adjourn and Jerry seconded with all in favor. The meeting finished at 9:20pm.
