the way of taking on new challenges such as kayaking. It was her very
first time in a kayak, and she promises to return to next year’s kayaking
event held by the WHIM group. WHIM stands for wheelchair health in motion,
and the leader, Carol Conforti-Adams, works hard to arrange activities
and volunteers to make these outings possible. WHIM is encouraging folks
in wheelchairs to expand their worlds and join into mainstream life’s fun
