A musical morning at the WCA, Thurs., Dec. 20
The Wilmot Community Association (WCA) invites one and all to Coffee & Carols. The free concert and sing-along will take place on Thursday, December 20 from 10:30 to Noon at the Red Barn, 64 Village Road.
Popular carols are on the playlist and everyone is encouraged to sing along. Song sheets will be provided. “Music and carols are an important part of the holidays. The WCA is delighted to host this event,” said Ann Davis, WCA board president and event coordinator.
No need to reserve a spot, the event is free and open to all. Just drop by for a little holiday music with friends, a cup of coffee and a sweet treat. Mark Aldrich will man the piano keys for the sing-along.
The WCA was established in 1963. Throughout the year, the not-for-profit sponsors and cosponsors free and low-cost entertainment, recreation and educational activities for families, adults and seniors. The WCA owns and operates the Red Barn, a community center on Village Road, and Timothy Patten Park, a beach and playground on Shindagan Road in Wilmot. In addition to community events, the Red Barn is available for rent for private events and parties.
The WCA’s office at 64 Village Road in Wilmot is open from 9 to noon Monday through Wednesday and by appointment. More information is available from the WCA website, www.WilmotWCA.org, and on the WCA Facebook page.
