East Andover- With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Elizabeth “Liz” Ebersole Currier. Liz died peacefully on Thursday, January 10, 2019.
Born in Buffalo, NY on April 17, 1949, Liz was the 3rd and youngest daughter of Earle and Lillian (Heck) Ebersole. She spent her childhood in Clarence, NY. Upon graduation from Buffalo State University, Liz moved to NH to begin her teaching career. She taught Elementary and Special Education at the Paul Smith School in Franklin. After her sons were born, she returned to teaching at Andover Elementary School where she taught for many years. She retired from the Proctor Academy Child Care Center in 2011.
Liz was a peaceful and caring person. She enjoyed the simple things in life. She shared a love for young children and was able to appreciate all they have to teach us. Along with her devotion to family, she enjoyed nature, music, yoga, Civil War history, black & white movies and an occasional round of golf. Her dry sense of humor and charming wit resulted in many hours of hearty laughter.
