NH State Arts Council to Hold Grant Information Sessions

Arts organizations, artists and others interested in learning more about applying for New Hampshire State Council on the Arts grants are invited to attend upcoming hour-long regional information sessions.

At each session, Arts Council staff will present an overview of the grant programs, including which grants will be offered for Fiscal Year 2020 and updates to grant guidelines.

Other topics will include: “who is eligible to apply for Arts Council grants,” “using the online application system,” “how the application and panel processes work,” “how to write a competitive application” and more.

Fiscal year 2020 grant categories include: artist entrepreneurial, arts in health projects, artist residencies in schools for arts learning, general project grants for community engagement, public value partnerships, traditional arts apprenticeships, and youth arts projects for creative youth development.

Information sessions are scheduled at the following place and times:

–       The Currier Museum, Manchester; Monday, March 4, 1-2 p.m.

–       The Library Arts Center, Newport; Tuesday, March 5, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
