Frank Haley is on the Road Again

On November 29., 2018  Frank Haley was presented with the Jo Adcock Service Award at the annual meeting and celebration of the board of Directors for Future In Sight. They sighted his 15 years of service participating in the annual Walk for Sight stating his continued service.

Frank and his wife Ann, of 54 years, drive from place to place visiting old friends, making new ones and collecting donations for the  Annual “Walk for Sight. They begin their trek daily around the 1st of April and continue right up until the day of the walk. Last year Frank and his wife collected $11,810.00 breaking his previous record. This brings his total to $86,212.00 over the past 15 years.

This year the Walk a Thon will be held on June 1, and from April 1 through the end of May, Frank and his wife Ann will once again be travelling place to place to collect donations for these much needed services.

Whether you have lived with a visual impairment for most of your life or are just receiving a diagnosis of uncorrectable vision loss, Future In Sights low vision programs and services can make a significant difference in your day-to-day life. Future In Sight continues to strengthen and expand their education programs, occupational therapy services, adaptive technology training, and recreational activities for both children and seniors. They also provide educational services, adaptive technology service, volunteer services and public education.
