August News From Salisbury Farmers Market

By Helen Binette

There is a good selection of vegetables so far and it’s only going to get better.  Come early as the vegetables go quickly.

We have The Ball Family Farm with honey; Scarlet Lessard with lotions, lip balm, and candles that are all organic; Harmony Weaving with beautiful woven goods; Six Raised Beds Farm with garlic grinders and mustards; Over the Hill Farm with a large variety of jams and jellies; Need for Beads with handmade bead jewelry.

In August we will have Patty Pond with a cart.  She will have gluten free and regular baked goods like whoopie pies, muffins, cookies, and biscotti as well as cold brew coffee and fruit drinks.  Come and visit her cart and have a nice cold drink while shopping. We will have eggs every week. If you have questions about gardening you can talk to Gail Devoid at the Needs for Beads table as she is a Master Gardener.

The market is open every Monday except holidays 3 to 6 PM at the Town Hall on Route 4.
