Most of us want to “age in place” as we get older, and to continue to be as independent as possible. Suggestions for the steps we can take to adapt our homes to the changing needs that may come with age will be offered in a presentation on Tuesday, November 12, at 10:15 AM at The Andover Community Hub.
Cheryl Phelps, an occupational therapist with the Lake Sunapee Region Visiting Nurse Association, will lead a discussion on what you can do to make it easier to maintain your independence and continue to live in your current home. She’ll also suggest how to begin thinking about a “Plan B” in case the need arises.
Everyone is welcome. The program is free, and coffee will be served. For information, contact TheAndoverHub@nullgmail.com.
