Under the direction of Leslie McDonnell and assistant director, William Gunn with pianist, Catharine Dornin, our program, titled Love Offered – Love Received, uses the gift of song to express this most necessary of human emotions. Join Pemi as we perform songs that reflect the many dimensions of love lost and love gained. The concert includes pieces ranging from A Choral Reflection on Amazing Grace arranged by Roger Ames and Howard Helvey’s In Heavenly Love Abiding to the Gershwin hit Someone to Watch Over Me. The program ends with a heartfelt tribute to song in The Awakening by Joseph M. Martin as we offer our love of singing for your enjoyment. Do something nice for your “loved ones” and bring them to one of our concerts.
