
There were, however, a few familiar events held around town, such as the Andover Service Club’s scholarship pie sale, impromptu mini-parades on Main Street and in East Andover, a respectful flag burning ceremony by the American Legion, and the Highland Lake boat parade.
The good news is that the Fourth of July Committee is already making big plans for the 2021 celebration. It is sure to be a humdinger after a year’s hiatus. Maybe next year the real Uncle Sam will make an appearance. Caption: Shelley Geoghegan. Photo: Charlie Darling
