Fran M. Manginot, 71, passed away peacefully at her home with her daughter by her side on July 11, 2020.  She was born on November 26, 1948 in Saint Die, France to the late Michael and Yvette Manginot.

Fran was born and raised in France, and moved to the United States by herself at 18.  She was always an independent person and hard worker, spending the last 15 years working for the State of New Hampshire.  

Fran moved to Andover 20 years ago and loved it there.  She was supportive, kind, efficient, and always had her family in mind.  She was a best friend and mentor to her daughter, Audrey.  She loved animals more than anything and rescued cats and dogs for most of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Audrey McLeod of Andover; sister, Anne Piffre and her husband Richard of France; brothers Alain and Christian Manginot of France; niece Alex Piffre, and grand-niece and grand-nephew, Capucine and Lua.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
