Melissa Leintz, a local Financial Advisor for Edward Jones in New London, would like to extend an invitation to Andover-area residents for a complimentary, virtual seminar. This month’s topic will be retirement, and details the steps you should be taking in the decade before you plan to retire.
Being prepared for retirement is more than just being ready to quit waking up before dawn, putting in long hours away from your family, and feeling like you live out of the glove compartment. If it were as simple as that, we’d all be ready before we reached age 30. Are you wondering if you’re actually ready to retire?
It’s never too early to begin planning for how comfortable and happy you’d like to be because retirement planning isn’t an “old people” thing — it’s a smart people thing — and Edward Jones wants to be a part of making your dreams become your reality.
“Our goal is to provide a relaxed environment, where people feel comfortable asking questions, bringing concerns, and getting to know us. Our regular attendees enjoy building our relationships with them while expanding their knowledge base, and we’d like to expand our reach, to offer this to anyone with a desire to be more ‘in the know,'” says Charlotte Rivera, Branch Office Administrator for Edward Jones.
Melissa and Charlotte have been hosting these events from their branch in New London for community members to come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss the current market and new challenges and opportunities within the financial industry and to maintain a healthy, social interaction among us.
If you would like an invitation to Melissa’s interactive webinar, “The Home Stretch: Seven Things To Do In The 10 Years Before You Retire,” to be held on Wednesday, October 21, from 5 to 6 PM, please email CharlotteRivera@nullEdwardJones.com to receive a registration link, or perhaps to suggest a financially-related topic you think our community would enjoy learning more about. You can also reach Charlotte or Melissa, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, at 877-0382.
