I am writing to thank the Frost family of Andover who ended up purchasing and cleaning up the property at 29 Applecrest Lane.
Those of us who live on and nearby this street experienced the realities of being too close to a drug house, and the daily fear and change of habits it brings! Some of us had strangers on their property, knocking on doors at all hours of the night, and the traffic by car and on foot was non-stop. We lived through two scary, but much needed, SWAT team events while the town and state tried to clamp down on the activity. The property was loaded with cars and tires, and the house was ruined. I worried about the eventual contamination of our wells and possible damage to the wetlands surrounding HIghland Lake.
Through a couple of sales, the Frost family purchased the property and has spent countless hours this summer and a lot of money to clean the property up! Those of us who live on Applecrest Lane and nearby can not thank the entire family enough for the work they have done! It has been a pure joy to watch the clean up, and I wanted to take the time to give a public shout-out to the family, and I know my neighbors on Applecrest agree! Thank you!
