General Election 2020 – Candidate for State Representative Merrimack 1

Republican – Louise Andrus

By Louise Andrus

The first reason people should vote for me is because I am honest. Next, I am not a politician. American theologian James Freeman Clarke said, “The difference between a politician and a statesman is that a politician thinks about the next election while the statesman thinks about the next generation.”  I think about working for the people of Andover, Danbury, and Salisbury here and now while preserving New Hampshire for future generations.

I stand for: pro life, pro second amendment, pro law enforcement, pro gun, pro school choice, pro limited government, and pro small business.

I defend the US Constitution and New Hampshire Constitution.

I will be a voice for the people of Andover, Danbury, and Salisbury and fight for all citizens on the “Live Free or Die” we stand for.

I will vote against an income tax, a sales tax, and any tax increases for the citizens of New Hampshire. I am against the tax increases that New Hampshire small businesses will incur in 2021 and understand our small businesses are struggling. They cannot endure this tax increase.

COVID-19 has changed everyone’s life, but I am optimistic that we will come out of this stronger than ever. In my opinion, the State needs to make cuts in the budget and acquire a balanced budget. The budget in New Hampshire has been cut significantly on occasion in the past and can be done again. State government cannot and should not balance the budget on the backs of the taxpayers by adding or increasing taxes.

Vote on November 3 by absentee or in person, and vote Republican.
