General Election 2020 – Candidate for New Hampshire State Senator

Democratic – Philip Spagnuolo

By Philip Spagnuolo

It is time that we had a State Senator who understands what struggling people, working people, and those who feel left behind are going through. My personal journey through the recovery process and my current professional work in the recovery community informs my perspective and will help me make decisions that benefit our communities.

But we don’t just need someone who understands what our communities are going through — we need someone who is willing to stand up for us, even if it means standing up to their own party. I will be that person. You will not find me getting caught up in partisan politics in Concord. I am not in this race to make friends in Concord, I’m running to fight for the change that is necessary for the district.

In the State Senate, you can expect me to fight for real results on:

– Protecting your access to quality, affordable health care

– Ending the crisis of addiction by using my personal experience with recovery to bring people together in Concord

– Securing a quality education for all young Granite Staters

– Promoting pro-business policies to revitalize our main streets and local economies

– Opposing attempts at implementing an income tax or sales tax

I know what it’s like to struggle and make it out the other side. It is so critical that we have people representing us who understand the importance of lifting others up and ensuring they have the resources to succeed. I am ready to go to Concord and work with anyone, regardless of party, to get real results for our communities.
