I am running for re-election for the Andover School Board. I have had the privilege of serving on the School Board for the past three years. My family and I have lived in Andover for 17 years. My daughter attended and graduated from AE/MS, and I believe that the education and support that she received from the school has set her up to succeed in her time so far at Proctor.

My son currently attends AE/MS, and with the support of our adaptive teachers and curriculum he has developed into a hard-working student. I believe strongly in providing a quality education for all Andover children while maintaining a balanced budget that does not overburden our community.

Over the last three years I have been involved in successful staff and teacher negotiations. I believe we have the best staff, and it continues to be important to me to support them. I have also been involved in the budgeting process and have made it a priority to make sure we are saving money for upcoming expenses.

The last year we have seen many challenges, and it is my goal to see them through. I have enjoyed serving the Andover community for the past three years, and it would be my honor to continue to do so. I believe that this community contains a lot of genuine interest and love towards learning, and I want to see these ideals prosper in a healthy environment.
