Rebekah Stearns Pursues Sports, Academics with Success and Passion

Rebekah Stearns, a junior at Merrimack Valley High School (MVHS), has again achieved high honors at MVHS during the most recent academic quarter.  Rebekah is a member of the National Honor Society and has been a Key Club member since 10th grade.  Rebekah will be the Key Club president for 2013-2014.  She is also an outstanding “Mathlete” on the Math Team at MVHS.  Rebekah has volunteered for many events at MVHS and has been involved in several drama club presentations.

Rebekah is also a member of the MVHS Varsity Field Hockey team and MVHS Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team. She is currently a coach-in-training for the MV Blue Storm Sports Youth Girls Lacrosse program.  Rebekah is also a USA Hockey Level 1 Referee and in training for US Lacrosse youth lacrosse officiating.

Rebekah participates in the Granite State Elite Lacrosse program (a two-year member) and previously participated in the Seacoast United Lacrosse club league and New London Outing Club.  Rebekah credits her lacrosse skills and passion to the Slogics of Sutton.

In addition to all of the above, Rebekah has just recently been accepted to the St. Paul’s school Advanced Studies Program for Summer 2013 and will attend this intensive academic program for five weeks this summer.
