Franklin Business and Professional Women is sponsoring the Velma Smith Dalphond Scholarship again this year. Through the years Franklin Business and Professional Women has continuously presented the award to a woman for use toward her education.

The Scholarship is awarded to an applicant based on financial need, to a woman 25 years or older who works or lives in the Franklin BPW membership area, and who is working toward advancing her skills and career with additional education. In recent years, we have awarded a scholarship of $500.

The deadline for applications is May 24. Please return applications to Christine Dzujna, 158 Sterling Drive, Franklin, NH 03235. The winner will be notified in June and invited to our June meeting.

Franklin BPW organizes and markets a community calendar that tracks organizational meetings, birthdays, and anniversaries. Calendar profits are used to help fund the annual scholarship awarded each year in June.
