Alvin Eaton, age 92, received the Boston Post Cane in 1967 for being Andover’s oldest resident. Al was a retired railroad worker and very well known around town. The selectmen shown presenting the cane are Bill Bardsley, Michael Ottati, and Jim Humphrey.
