Shop for Beautiful Art at Arts on the Green in Sunapee Harbor

COVID guidelines will still be followed

Press release
In past years, the Center for the Arts-sponsored Arts on the Green, in Sunapee Harbor, offered a variety of arts and crafts vendors to participants. This is the 10th year of the event.

Nothing could be nicer than spending a summer day near Lake Sunapee enjoying the sunshine.  Nothing except enjoying the lake, the sunshine, and shopping for beautiful art!  If this appeals to you, join us for Arts on the Green sponsored by Center for the Arts Lake Sunapee Region (CFA) on Saturday, July 17, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Sunapee Harbor.

This is the 10th year CFA has sponsored the event, and in the words of CFA Board Chair Jean Connolly, “We are thrilled to bring this show to Sunapee Harbor once again. The beautiful outdoor space provides an excellent backdrop to view the work of these amazing artists and craftsmen.”

This year’s arts and crafts people include painters (pastel, oil, and watercolor), potters, artisan jewelers, stained glass makers, bead workers, photographers, and metal crafters.  The show will be a bit larger than last year, but no one needs to worry as we will still follow COVID-19 guidelines in keeping the artists and public safe. The 15 booths will face beautiful Sunapee Harbor.

Kathleen Barris, a jeweler, returns this year and says, “I can’t wait for the Arts on the Green show in July.  It will be a pleasure to be in the company of such talented artists and artisans at Sunapee Harbor.  Please stop by … I have much new work to show you!”

The entire day promises to be one filled with exquisitely crafted and beautifully visioned works of art with an unbeatable backdrop. And once you are done perusing the art at Arts on the Green, why not head up the street to the Livery for Naturally New England, another CFA-sponsored event featuring 50 juried regional artists in their one-week show.
