Vaccine Van Schedules Stop at Andover’s Town-wide Yard Sale

All three vaccines will be available

Press release

A new addition to the Andover Emergency Services Auxiliary’s Town-wide Yard Sale on Saturday, August 28, is the scheduling of the New Hampshire Mobile Vaccine Van from 8 to noon on that day.  Anyone who would like to receive a COVID-19 vaccination is invited to show up at the Andover Fire Station on Main Street in Andover Village during that time to receive one; walk-ins are welcome and all three FDA authorized vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson) will be available.

The vaccines are free to recipients and no health insurance is needed.  Anyone age 12 and older can get vaccinated at that time.

The mobile van, a partnership between the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and ConvenientMD, was launched on July 15, and already more than 100 organizations have requested a visit from the state’s van this summer, as COVID-19 cases are again on the rise in the state.

For more information, residents can contact the auxiliary at AndoverESA@nullgmail.com or The Andover Community Hub, co-sponsor of this event, at TheAndoverHub@nullgmail.com or leave a message at 735-5509 and someone will return the call.  Anyone who would like to schedule a vaccination during this opportunity, please provide a name, phone number, number of people, and any requests for a particular type of vaccine.
