Peter Zak passed away on August 18, 2021 at the age of 86.

He was born on October 6, 1934, to Peter Zak and Irene Pechensky.

He is survived by his four children, P. Scott Zak of Boston; Father Timothy Zak, SDB of New Rochelle, New York; Stephanie Chmielinski and her husband, Richard, of North Easton, Massachusetts; and Gregory Zak of Port St. Lucie, Florida, as well as two granddaughters, Alaina Chmielinski and Lia Chmielinski. 

He is also survived by his loving partner of 38 years, Mary Lloyd-Evans of New London, and her son, Peter Lloyd-Evans and his wife Anne.

Peter is remembered as a man of many talents and interests. As owner of Highland Lake Apple Farm in East Andover, he delighted in the small apple orchard, growing fruits and vegetables, and beekeeping. He was happy to share the fruits of the earth and his labor.

A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, August 25, at 11 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, New London. Burial will be at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at 1:30 PM. After the burial, there will be a reception at Highland Lake Inn, East Andover, at 2:30 PM.
