Pamela Goodall Jelleme – August 20, 2021

Pamela Goodall Jelleme passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Peabody Place on August 20. Pam was born on April 30, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan.  She lived in Baltimore, Maryland until 1963, when the family moved to Nantucket, Massachusetts. She also lived in East Andover and San Gimignano, Italy.

Pam was the President of the New Hampshire Grape Growers Association, served on the Budget Committee in East Andover, and was active in the American Women’s League in Florence, Italy.  She had a passion for many things including knitting, needlework, and travel. She was a fabulous cook and gardener, and loved everything English.

Pam leaves behind her children: Paddy Nicholls, Meg Miller, John Welch, Victoria Chase, Kristina Jelleme, Lisa Jelleme-Miller, Carl Jelleme, and Jan Jelleme; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family is thankful to her “Peabody Home Family” of nine years. All the staff provided care emotionally and physically that brought a quality of life to her in those years.

A celebration of her life will be held in Nantucket on Saturday, October 16.  Donations in her memory can be made to Peabody Place, 24 Peabody Place, Franklin NH 03235, or Little Mountain Rescue, PO Box 129, Eupora MS 39744-0129
