Blomquists Become Official Pastors of Andover Community Church

The Andover Community Church has had a very busy month; so many exciting happenings!
One of the most exciting is that it is now official that Pastor Bill and Pastor Cinnamon are now part of our church. Right Reverend Andrew Williams, bishop of the Anglican Diocese of New England, will be here on Sunday, November 14, to install the Blomquists and confirm those desiring to become Anglican.

As COVID-19 cases are starting to pick up again, we are asking everyone to wear a mask inside. Services are still being held at 8 and 10 AM, both inside the church and on Zoom. If you would like to watch on Zoom, go to AndoverCommunityNH.org, look for a picture of the church, then find the blue projector and click on it. You’ll enter a waiting room where someone will be there to let you in.

On September 7, the church hosted an Alpha kick-off dinner. This was provided by Beth Bellows and Lawrence O’Neill and enjoyed by all. There were eight guests and seven helpers present. If you are searching for answer about God, this is the place to be. Also, this is a great way to get some answers to those unanswered questions.

Linda Wickstrom has been directing this class for a long time. The course runs for 10 weeks. The course includes a three-day retreat on the Person of the Holy Spirit. If you would like more information, please send an email to Linda at AlphaLady@nullhotmail.com.

We are still anxiously waiting for our parking lot to get done. The paving company has
possibly had a lot of delays due to all the rain. In the meantime, we wait.

We would like to thank everyone who has donated to this great project and who have helped us raise nearly all of the $35,000 needed.

The church rummage sales are coming to an end for this year with our last sale on Saturday, October 30, from 9 AM to 1 PM. We have met many people from all around the United States. This year sales have been awesome, and the support we have been getting is truly wonderful.

The money we have been raising has been going towards the parking lot. Please join us for our last one, and check out all the items plus the bake sale. We also started selling pre-made meals, which has been a great addition.

Fingers crossed, we are hoping to have the Andover Community Coffeehouse back in the Highland Lake Grange Hall in October. Again, it all depends on COVID-19 and what the CDC recommends.

If you’d like any information about these activities or the church, please call the church office at 603 735-5160 to talk to Pastor Bill.
