
The creations of four local artisans will be showcased in October at the Andover Thrift and Gift Shop.
Sue McCandless of Owls Nest Emporium has a remedy for the cold weather ahead with a fine selection of handmade mittens created from recycled wool sweaters and lined with recycled cashmere wool.
Joanie Butterfield of Anna’s Daughter Design has her wool felted hats and wool felted cuff bracelets, cell phone bags, and hand painted ornaments on display. Need a baby gift? Joanie offers beautiful baby items, including soft toys!
Artisan Anne Hewitt will be offering tasty dried herbs and infused oils for your fall and winter recipes,delightfully packaged. Check out Anne’s handmade fabric tote bags, hand-painted vases, and other home decor items.
Andrea Lapins Designs will be offering décor to brighten your home this fall, skillfully hand painted mailboxes, and original rendition note cards and placemats featuring Lake Sunapee and other local landscapes.
Visit the Andover Thrift and Gift Shop on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10 AM and 4 PM, and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM, to check out these fabulous items, along with a nice selection of gently used and new women’s and children’s clothing, jewelry, and accessories.
The shop does accept donations of the same and consigns with 50% to you! And don’t forget, the shop now carries Cardigan Mountain Soaps.
