During the month of November, shoppers at the Andover Thrift and Gift Shop can fill a bag with clothing for the special price of $5 a bag. That’s right! The shop provides a good-sized brown paper bag for you to fill from a great selection of clothing items. Stock up now.

While shopping, remember holiday gift giving is right around the corner, and the Andover Thrift and Gift Shop’s November artisans will help you check items off of your list. Sue McCandless of Owls Nest Emporium is offering colorful handmade wool sweater mittens lined in cashmere, with a special “buy two” price!  

Mary Phinney of Andover will make you feel all warm and toasty with her assortment of handknit socks and shawls. Joanie Butterfield of Anna’s Daughter Design, known for her wool felted hats and cuffs, also offers a variety of items for home and that new baby on your list. 

You will be wowed by the stunning collection of jewelry inspired by animals and nature handcrafted by Andrea Lapins Designs. Check out the wooden puzzles and ornaments on display too, a true testament to the fine woodworking skills of Stu Randall of Andover. 

 

And don’t forget, the shop now carries Cardigan Mountain Soaps, delightfully scented and wrapped for gift giving.

Whether you need a new outfit, a gift, or a card, visit the Andover Thrift and Gift Shop first and support the nonprofit Andover Service Club with your purchase. The shop is located beside the Andover Elementary/Middle School at 26 School Street and is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
